BALANCING POWERS
The Indian state has three organs - The legislature, The executive and The Judiciary. The legislature frames laws , The executive implements laws and The Judiciary interprets the laws. The executive is answerable to the legislature which consists of elected representatives. The judiciary is independent from the executive and can question their actions including the passing of the several laws from the parliamentary. The powers of the state are thus divided in such way among the three organs that it provides a system of checking each other and balances it to prevent the misuse by any organ.
