So there are two terms there
1) Data Mining
2) Data Warehousing

*Data Mining- Data Mining is a process that is used to extract usable data from a larger set of any raw data.
It is used to find patterns in data which is very helpful in making decisions accordingly.

*Data Warehousing- A data warehouse is a collection of corporate information and data derived from operational systems and external data sources.
*In data warehousing,data are taken from various resources for useful analysis and access.

Both Data Mining and Data warehousing, are extremely important in any business.
