  1. COMPLEXITY OF CELL-Some are Eukaryotes and some are Prokaryotes .
  2. COMPLEXITY OF ORGANISM-Some are Multi cellular and some are Unicellular.
  3. MODE OF NUTRITION-Some are Autotrophs ,while some are heterotrophs .
  4. MAJOR ECOLOGICAL ROLE-Some are producer,while some are Decomposer ad some are Consumer.
