The basis of classification is the end use of the product . goods which are used by the producers in the process of production such as raw material or goods purchased for resale.This goods are still within the production boundary.

Intermidiate and Final goods are classified on the following bases..
√ Intermediate goods haven't crossed the boundary line of production ..
But final goods are crossed the line of production...
√ Intermediate goods are not yet ready to use by end users while final goods are totally ready to use...
√ Intermediate goods must be added more value in further process but final goods are over by value addition..
