While opting for long distance learning course, there is not much scope to interact always.Here, feedback plays a crucial role in opening and maintaining an interaction between tutors and students. Using textual analysis, questionnaire and interview data, this study can reveal both tutor and student perspectives on the basis of feedback received on a distance language, tutorial course. It finds that there are considerable individual differences in the feedback offered by tutors. There is also variation in the type of feedback the students deserve and their reported application of it.
