an atom is made up of three particle electron protorn and newtron  which are  located in a small neucleus at the center of the atom  due to presence of newtron nucleus is posituvely charged.

the electrons revolve rapidly around the nucleus in fixed circular path for energy level or shells it is represented by no. 1,2,3,4 or k,l,m,n there is a limit to the number of electron which each energy level can hold.

k - 2e

l - 8e

m - 18e

n - 32e
