body symmetry means that whether the body is asymmetrical , radially symmetry ( means it means the body can be divided into many parts by cutting through its radius ) , bilateral symmetry ( means that body can be divided into two equal parts ). body symmetry is the shape through which the bidy is known.

for ex - porifera are asymmetrical
coellentrata are radially symmetrical
from plathyhelminthes to chordates they are bilateral symmetry
