Geomorphology:- It encompasses the study of landforms, their formation and other related processes.

Climatology:- It is devoted to the study of atmosphere, elements of climate and weather and climatic regions and its types.

Hydrology:- It tells us the realm of water around the surfaces of earth including lakes, rivers and oceans and their effects on other forms of life including human life forms and their activities.

Soil Geography:- It is highly devoted to the study of processes related to soil, including its types, soil fertility, it's formation and its uses.

Social/cultural Geography:- It includes study about society and its spatial dynamics and its cultural elements contributed by the society.

Population and settlement geography:- It encompasses the study of population growth, migration, sex determination, density etc. and characterization of settlements in urban and rural areas.

Economic Geography:- It studies about the economic activities of people including trade, tour, transport etc.

Historical Geography:- It is devoted to the study of historical processes which has undergone some historic experiences before attaining the present way of structure.

Political Geography:- It studies about space by the angle of political events.
