Hey there!
The narrator describes the beauty of his grandmother and compares her with the snow covered mountains in winter. Like the mountains, his grandmother radiated a sense of serenity. The writer terms it as "white serenity" because she had white hair and was always dressed in white. He describes his grandmother as the epitome of peace and equanimity.
Hope it helped!☺️

Authors grandmother was always attired in spotless white clothes. She had silver hair and her lips constantly moved in an inaudible prayer. She presented a picture of pure white serenity breathing peace and contentment. Her inner beauty radiated on her face , making her an epitome of peace and contentment . Age wise also , she was in the winter of her life .
