Answer: The Bystander is a poem written by John Donne. The speaker says that the lawyers will find cases and the soldiers will go to the war as it is their work. He wants everyone to be silent as his love is pure and might turn him to a saint.

He also says his emotions are high with love yet the routine goes on in life and that should not be canonised as he and his lover is enjoying the moment.
