Explain the camps of Mesolithic people developed into first settled villages of neolithic people in Mesopotamia
Answers
Mesopotamia is often referred to as the birthplace of civilization, as it is the place where the first civilization of the world came into existence. Iraq and Kuwait are considered to be present-day Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia is taken from the Greek language, wherein mesos means between, and potamos means a nation between two rivers, i.e., Tigris and Euphrates.
About 6000 to 8000 years ago, it was the first location to practice agriculture. The place was ideal for the development of a civilization because it was located on the flood plains, which ensured ample drinking water and fertile soil for cultivation.
Apart from this, Mesopotamia was also situated in between the Egyptian and Indus valley civilization, which made it a central hub of arts, culture, technology, literature, trade, etc.
