Answer:

Explanation:

The immediate causes of the 1905 revolution were failed state-level leadership and policy, inflation poverty, hunger, Russo-Japanese War, the rise of reformer and revolutionary groups. Consequently, the failure of the 1905 revolution was down to the fact that the revolutionary groups were not in accord over their aims and desires, and consequently there was a lack of co-ordination and organisation. The February 1917 Revolution took less than a week to topple the Romanov monarchy. The 1905 Revolution, however, lasted an entire year, yet the monarchy survived. There were two key reasons why the 1905 Revolution was ultimately unsuccessful. On the one hand, the revolutionaries themselves were highly disorganised, and pursued different aims. On the other hand, the tsar still enjoyed the support of influential groups. It will also be demonstrated that these two reasons are closely related and influenced the actions of the tsarist government in its efforts to end the revolution.
