The most important cause of famine is therefore not the population explosion. Famine is primarily a consequence of unequal distribution of food, which in turn is caused by social-economic inequality, lack of democracy and (civil) war. ... Social factors are at the base of both poverty and population growth.

As u know my dear INDIA is the second most populous state in INDIA.SO gradually it will have more population.the main impact of population growth in our environment are as follows-
1.it leads to the degradation of natural resources as the demands are incresing more day by day.
2.it lead to increase in pollution as because a lot of waste is generated in our environment.
3. it leads the ending way of bio-diversity of our environment..the main reason behind this point is that as u know the demands r longing more so there will be more industrial growth so the result will be falling on environment totally .so altogetherly this will create huge impact on our bio-diversity.
4.there will be gradual changes in the temperature of the earth which can impact in agricultural sector.
5. LAST BUT NO THE LEAST THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT
IT WILL LEAD TO CAUSE MANY NATURAL CALAMITIES WHICH COULD LEAD TO THE DESTRUCTION OF HUMAN AS WELL AS ANIMALS WORLD..THIS DESTRUCTION WILL TAKE PLACE BECAUSE THERE WILL BE VAST CHANGE IN PHYSICAL LIFE OF THE WORLD...
