Due to continuous rise in population, there is chronic unemployment and under employment in india There is educated unemployment and disguised unemployment. The indian economy is under developed due to low rate of growth. It is the main cause of poverty.

India is one of the developing country, which is struggling from ages to achieve the desirable standard for living.
The reasons of poverty in India can be counted as :- population, that creates the problem for the bigger unit of society which is continuously increasing.
In addition to that, unemployment is the leading cause of poverty. Since more people are living under the poverty line.
