a) Social cause:- The french society was divided into three estates first, second and third estate. But only third estate used to pay taxes
b) Economic cause:- The king Louis XVI forced to rise taxes because lot of money was spend on war, army and government court.
c) The role of middle class:- Educated and wealthy middle class people give birth to the idea of equality.
d) Immediate cause:- In the estate general meeting Louis XVI offer the proposal of new taxes rejected by third estate and walk out of the assembly.
e)substance crises:- The prices of bread increase due to shortage of bread but the salary of worker didn't keep up the pace with rising taxes which lead to substance crises
