The Central Highlands is made up of hard igneous and metamorphic rocks. It comprises of Malwa Plateau , the small plateau of Bundelkhand and the Chota Nagpur plateau. Chambal, Sind and Betwa are the three important rivers which flow through the Central Highlands.
