  • this chapter basically deals with two things the plantae kingom and animalia kingdom.
  • before this we learn the importance of classification
  • then about the classification given by two great scientist
  • we follow the classification given to us by robert whittaker of the five kingdom
  • then the five kingdoms monera , protista , fungi , plantae and animalia is discribed
  • before the plant group classification it is important to know about cryptogame and phanerogame
  • after all this we come to the plant kingdom where we learn about the 5 groups of plants
