- this chapter basically deals with two things the plantae kingom and animalia kingdom.
- before this we learn the importance of classification
- then about the classification given by two great scientist
- we follow the classification given to us by robert whittaker of the five kingdom
- then the five kingdoms monera , protista , fungi , plantae and animalia is discribed
- before the plant group classification it is important to know about cryptogame and phanerogame
- after all this we come to the plant kingdom where we learn about the 5 groups of plants

- pteridophyta
- gymnosperm
- angiosperm
- two examples of each is necessary
- following this comes the animal kingdom
