- Maggie in this story is just opposite in her characters than that of her brother Tom. She is very similar to her father and hence she has been referred as her father's daughter.
- During her childhood days, she was very intelligent but she tends to forget her studied parts.
- She takes harsh decision without thinking twice and she cannot withstand the harsh criticism that others conclude due to her harsh decision. She is not as arrogant as Tom and she understands her mistakes.
