Characteristics of Films
FILM TYPES. The overall contrast characteristic of a film (shape of characteristic curve and latitude) is determined by the composition of the emulsion. Radiographic film is usually designated as either high contrast or medium contrast film. Medium contrast film is often referred to as latitude film.
