Every constitution aims at establishing values and ideals. These ideals may include democracy, freedom or liberty, welfare people, equality and justice.

To govern a country the constitution is made. on 9 december 1946 the first meeting was held on the preside of dr. sachchidananda sinha (PRESIDENT OF CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY) . due to illness he died, after his death dr. rajendra prasad was appointed as the president of constituent assembly.And two vice presidents were also appointed. dr.br ambedkar became the chairman of drafting commitee . on 26 november constitution was adopted and it came into force on 26 january 1950 thus this day was celebrated as republic day. it contains preamble,22 parts, 395 articles, 8 schedules.it was borrowed from many countries like france,usa,britain etc.. it gives the rights to citizen to do the legal work. it consists of fundamental rights,fundamental duties,directive principles of state.it made india as a socialistic secularistic sovereign democratic republic country.it tells that how a country shoud be and the citizens shoud be.it describes the punishment for illegal works.  it was made to line the people.
