Answer :

Chemical reaction : when magnesium reacts with hydrocloric acid .

 \sf \underset{ \sf \: magnesium}{Mg } +  \underset{hydrocloric \: acid}{HCl } \longrightarrow \:\underset{Magnesium\: Cloride}{ MgCl_ 2} +\underset{Hydrogen \:gas}{H _ 2↑}

Balanced Equation :

 \sf \underset{ \sf \: magnesium}{Mg } +  \underset{hydrocloric \: acid}{2HCl } \longrightarrow \: MgCl_ 2 +H _ 2↑

About Above Reaction :

when Magnesium(metal) is reacted with HCL (acid) then they formed magnesium cloride and h2 gas is evolved.

  • Metal + Acid => salt + hydrogen gas
