Christmas is celebrated to on the occasion of Jesus's birth. Whereas, Easter, a festival which replaced the coming spring festival which has unfixed date. It was fixed by lunar calendar (an monthly calendar). This festival was celebrated to remember their Jesus's death/crusifixion of Christ.
