1. People boycott civil services

2.Returned their titles

3.lawyers and students left their jobs and universities

4.People started to use khadi clothes which is made in india

But due to following reasons it gradually slows down in cities

a)khadi was to much expensive than foriegn colthes so poor peoples cant afford it

b) No new institutions were set up for students and they went back to their colleges

c) finally due to no alternative institutions .lawayers came back their jobs
