Biotic- obtained from biosphere which have life
Abiotic- non living thing
2) On the basis of exhaustibility
Renewable - renewed by physical, chemical or mechanical ptocesses
Non-renewable- exhaust by time.
3) On the basis of ownership
Individual - owned by a private individual
Community - owned by people of a single community.
National- owned by people of a single nation.
International- owned by the international institution beyond 200 nautical mile
4) On the basis of the status of development
Potential - not yet utilised resources
Developed - determined for utilisation.
Stock - no technology to develop the resource
Reserve - subset of stock
