Cleansing action of Soaps and detergents: Most of the dirt is oily in nature and oil does not dissolve in water. The molecule of soap constitutes sodium or potassium salts of long chain carboxylic acids.

this hydrophillic is favour to water and hydrophobic is with dirt particle

when tale is reacted with dirt the head also starts pulling to react with water

so there is an agiatition so this makes an cleansing property action of soap..
