Rice are grown during the month from June to october. these dependent on the western monsoon.

1)Rice is comes under kharif crops and this crops needs 25° temperature to grow.

2)It also requires humidity (High) and also rainfall higher than 100 cm.

3)Cultivation of rice is generally practiced in the northern east part of india, coastal or in deltaic regions of india.

4)Agriculture of rice is possible in haryana and punjab is due to the development of irrigation canal that provides the sufficient amount of water for agriculture.

5)The area which have not the adequate amount of water in that place it is practised using the irrigation canal.
