Answers
Coal and Iron:-
Britain was fortunate in coal and iron and the staple materials for induraties like tin and copper were plentiful available there. But by the 18th century, there was a kind of scarcity of usable iron in England. For centuries, charcoal was used for smelting the iron in England. But charcoal was not very available there due to cutting of trees on a very large scale and also, charcoal was a too fragile non-metal so that it was hard to transport to long distances.
For it's solution, the first Abraham Darby invented a blast furnace in 1709, which could generate high temperatures by using coke as compared to usage of charcoals. And after this invention of first Darby, iron smelting process didn't had to depend upon charcoal no more. In first Darby invention's improvement, the second Darby invented the wrought iron machine. His invention made it possible to use iron in broad range of products. And then the third Abraham Darby invented the first iron bridge of the world in 1779. Their inventions regarding staple machines helped the England industries to grow.
