=> a+b/b= c+d/d

This is componendo

a/b-1= c/d-1

=> a-b/b=c-d/d

This is dividendo

when we divide both of them

we get

a+b/a-b= c+d/c-d

This is because we recoiprocate to deivide and the terms b and d cancel out in their respective sides.
