Answer:Rajya sabha is upper house of the parliament.It is the permanent house.After every two years ,the tenure of its 1/3rd members came to end.

As per article 84 of the constitution,a person is qualified to be a mamber of Rajya Sabha provided he:-

1.He is a citizen of India.

2.He has completed 30 years of age.

3.It is important for me him that his name be in the constituency list of the state,from which he wants to contest the Rajya Sabha
