Palampur is well connected with the towns beside it as well as developed system of irrigation and electricity there are 450 families living in this village small farmers and large farmers landless labour everybody are included in some activities such as shopkeeper Travellers. the main focus of story of Palampur is to give an idea of a village to be developed and maintained the system of irrigation and to how to produce a large crop and how to survive the livelihood .farming is main productivity in this village

This village has about 450 families belonging to several different castes. The 80 upper caste families own the majority of land in the village. Their houses ,some of them very large, are made of brick with cement plastering .the SCs  (dalits) one third of the village and live in one corner of the village and in one corner of the village and in much smaller houses some of which are mud and straw.
