Filters are used for the purpose of easiness in the worksheet .These are usually applied for displaying of the desired data out of large worksheet . This makes easy in order just  focusing on small specific data.
These filter are enable the person to filterout the numeric as well as the text data.
These are extremely helpful when you have to display only a important or main data out of a large data in meeting or research.

Filters are added to data in a worksheet so that it becomes easier to focus on specific information from a huge database or from a table of data.

Filters can be used in data records for filtering numeric data and text data.

When data is filtered, only the rows that meet the filter criteria will be displayed and all the other rows will be hidden. With the data is filtered, it can be copied, formatted, printed, etc., without having to sort or move it first.
