GAS-SOLUTION EQUILIBRIUM:-

It states that the rate of chemical reaction is directly proportional to the product of active masses of the reacting substance raised to a Power equal to the stoichiometric Coefficient in the balance chemical equation.

▫Gas-solution is most similar to the law proposed by Henry.

▪The most common example is t he soda bottle is sealed under the pressure of the gas where its solubility in water is high.

Gases In Liquids

This equilibrium is governed by Henry's law.

It states that the mass of a gas dissolved in a given mass of a solvent at any temperature is proportional to the pressure of the gas above the solvent.

The soda bottle is sealed under the pressure of the gas where its solubility in water is high.
