Hey Mate!!! Here's your answer :

A body is said to be in rest if it does not change its position with respect to the environment. For example : sleeping, sitting, standing, a stopped car, etc.

A body is said to be in motion if it keeps changing its position with respect to the environment. For example : running, playing, swimming, moving cars, etc.

Hope this helps...pls mark as brainliest...

Answer:

A body is said to be at rest if it does not change its position with respect to its surroundings, whereas, a body is said to be in motion if it changes its position with respect to its surroundings.

For example, a passenger sitting inside a moving train is in motion with respect to a person standing outside the train. However, the passenger is at rest with respect to the train, because he/she is moving along with the train.
