rainwater harvesting means to collect the rainwater for future uses. rainwater is usually collected by digging pits or tanks or by building embankments around a low lying area. the collected water can used directly and a part of it also seep into soil, replenishing groundwater reserve.

Rain water harvesting means capturing rain where it falls or capturing the run off in your village or town and taking measures to that water clean by not allowing polluting activities to take placement in the catchment
