Answer:

Galileo's laws of Motion: ... developed the idea of force, as a cause for motion. determined that the natural state of an object is rest or uniform motion, i.e. objects always have a velocity, sometimes that velocity has a magnitude of zero = rest. objects resist change in motion, which is called inertia.Newton, who was born the same year that Galileo died, would build on Galileo's ideas to demonstrate that the laws of motion in the heavens and the laws of motion on the earth were one and the same.Perhaps Galileo's greatest contribution to physics was his formulation of the concept of inertia: an object in a state of motion possesses an ``inertia'' that causes it to remain in that state of motion unless an external force acts on it. Most objects in a state of motion do NOT remain in that state of motion.Aside from his numerous inventions, Galileo also laid down the first accurate laws of motion for masses. Galileo measured that all bodies accelerate at the same rate regardless of their size or mass.

Answer: Galileo proposed the following concepts about force ,motion and inertia of bodies ;

  1. Expalation :{i} the natural state of all earthly bodies is either the  state of rest or the state of uniform motion  .                               2.Expalation : {ii}a body in motion will continue to be in the same state of motion as long as on external force is applied.                 3.Expalation : {iii}whan a force is applied on bodies ,they resist any change in their state .this property of bodies is called 'inertia'.             4.expalation :{iv} when dropped from a height in vacuum, bodies of different size, shape and mass fall at the same rate and reach the ground at the  same time
