.......before the French revolution women did not enjoy any special status in the society they had no rights and were reduced to the status of Minor .moreover they are kept locked in the four walls they had no right to vote .most of them were uneducated so took to the jobs of maids laundress or caretaker to run there houses.thus there condition was pitiful before the French revolution
.......after the revolution
There conditions changed to a great extent they became aware of their rights and fought for for them finally they won the voting right as well.but even after the revolution they failed to gain equal rights and opportunities as men..
