Nucleus is a centre of cell. Also known as a brain of cell.

Nucleus as a cell organelles was discovered by Robert Brown in 1831.

Nucleus contains chromatin, , nuclear matrix, & one or more spherical bodies known as nucleoli.

All function of cell perform by nucleus.

Nucleus is also called as brain of cell as it controls different activities occuring inside cell. In eukaryotes nucleus is enclosed by nuclear membrane. inside nucleus highly coiled chromatin network present which contains Chromosomes. Chromosomes contains DNA which carries important genetic information. With the help of DNA nucleus synthesises various proteins which are responsible for various activities occuring inside the cell.
