1. On July 20th, 1924, Dr. Ambedkar set up the Bahishkrit Hitakarini Sabha (Association for the welfare for the Depressed classes or Dalit or Untouchable caste) to promote education and socio-economic uplifting of the depressed classes which he had till 1928.
