Explain the contribution of following events in Indian Freedom Movement.
a) Home-rule movement, b) Lucknow Pact,

(a) The main purpose of home rule league is to create or attain a self government.

It was started by Anne Besant ( an Irish lady) in Madras ( nowadays Chennai) and by balance gangadhar Tilak in Maharashtra.

(b) After some time Moderates, Muslim league and radical or extremists realised that division of them can not be able to influence the Britishers.

So they all decided to reunite. And in Lucknow they all joined hand.

This is called as Lucknow pact.
