Scholars revolt

• Though the movement was supressed by french it became an inspiration for similar movements to come up.

Hoa Hao movement

• It was lead by Hyun Phu So in the fertile Mekong delta region.

• After Hyun Phu Sowas declared insane and exiled it inspired many other young students to fight against the colonisers.
