"The day 15th April 1469 is the day Guru Nanak given birth, but his day of birth is celebrated after Diwali. The reason is that 90% of the Sikhs come from the BC caste and SC caste (from Jatts community to Mazhbis community).
When in Punjab, the Sikh became a huge community, the Hindus decided to keep them in their fold. The Sikh Brahms came forward and took over the Sikh religion.
Most of the histories of Sikh is written by the dubious people where these people are distorted much of Sikh histories to give it a touch of Hindu while writing Sikh history. Education is now widespread, and the Sikhs noticed these distortions and demand corrections, but the Hindus did not."
