after fertilization zygote begin to develop into an embryo.the cell than begin to form groups.these developing structure is termed as embryo.the embryo get embedded in the walls of the uterus for further development called implantation. the embryo continues to develop in the uterus. the stage of the embryo in which of the body parts can be identified is called a foetus. it takes 9 months for the embryo to grow and develop into a fully formed baby called the gestation period. when the development of the foetus is complete, the mother gives birth to the baby

Fertilisation results in the formation of zygote. The zygote divides repeatedly to give rise to a ball of cells which then begin to form groups that develop into different tissues and organs of the body. This developing structure is called an embryo. It gets embedded in the wall of the uterus for further development.
