Explain the development of number concept through manipulation of object with example

Developing the number concept amongst children can be a task for some parents, but with simple techniques like these, you can quickly help them understand different concepts easily :

1.    One to one correspondence – is to make sure that the child is understanding every number and is recognising it.

2.    Counting on- It allows the child to continue to count the objects that theyr preciously counted and add to the new counter. For example, you can give your child 2 apples and then again 2 apples and ask them to count together.  

3.    Patterning recognition and creation- Make the child recognize the different number and make them read while writing to make them understand the repetition of patterns from 0-9
