in a CONCAVE mirror the Image produced is always diminished, upright and virtual. The image produced by a concave lens can never be caught on a screen as it is a virtual image.

in a CONVEX mirror the image produced can be of nature- real or virtual of size - highly diminished, diminished, same size, magnified or highly magnified. only when the object is placed between the focal point 1 and optical centre you will get a virtual image which is of size- Magnified
