a. Receptors receives the stimulus.
While, effectors give the response to the stimulus.
b. Cerebrum is the body's thinking and control centre which controls all voluntary actions, thoughts, memory, learning and is also the centre for perceiving senses.
While, cerebellum controls and coordinates the skeletal muscles and helps to maintain the body balance.
c. Central nervous system consists of the brain and spinal cord which coordinates conscious muscular activities or voluntary actions.
While, the Peripheral nervous system consists of the 12 pairs of cranial nerves and 31 pairs of spinal nerves and controls the unconscious activities of the body like breathing and heart beating.
d. Brain is the control centre of the nervous system which coordinates with other organs of the nervous system and controls the body activities. It consists of cerebellum, cerebrum and medulla oblongata.
While, spinal cord is the continuation of the medulla oblongata and links the brain to the rest of the body. It controls the reflex actions.
