Tides are driven by the gravitational force of the moon and sun. Tides are characterized by water moving up and down over a long period of time. When used in association with water, the term "current" describes the motion ofthe water. Oceanic currents are driven by several factors.

Hey Dude
Ur Answer Is

Tide - periodic change in the ocean level caused by the gravity of the moon and sun. Some places have 2 similar/identical tides every day, others have two different tides.

Current - directional flow of water. If you sit in a boat with no propulsion, the boat will be swept along with the current.
