Following difference between Bhabar and Terei are :
• Bhabar :-
• Lies to the South of Shivaliks and spreads over 16 km.
• There is deposition of Pebbles and Gravels here.
• All the streams disapper here due to porous rocks.
• It is unsuitable for culture.
• Terei :-
• Lies in the region of northern India and southern Nepal running parallel to the lower ranges of the Himalayas.
• River re-merges here creating wet,swampy and marshy region.
• It has thick forests full of wildlife. It is used in agriculture and settlement. Eg : Dudha National Park
• It is 20-30 km wide.
