Mango trees are tropical trees that belong to a flowering plant genus while Coconut trees are member of the Palm family and the only species of the coco genus. Botanically they do both produce a drupe or stone fruit.

Coconut trees & mango tree roots are very different from each other.

- The coconut tree has a fibrous or adventitious root which are thin and grow outward from the plant above soil with only a few roots deep in the soil for stability.

-Coconut tree leaves are very big and look like fan blades just cut into thin strips.
