The reflecting surface of the concave mirror is bulged inwards.

But the reflecting surface of the convex mirror is bulged outwards.

Concave mirror produces real and inverted images (except when the object is placed between pole and focus.

But the convex mirror always produces virtual and erect images.

Convex lenses are thicker at the centre & thinner at the edges.

Conversely, the concave lenses are thinner at the centre & thicker at its edges, in structure.

The focal length of a convex lens is positive, while that of a concave lens is negative.
