RAM is Random Access Memory. ...

When you power off your computer the data stored in RAM is deleted.

ROM is a type of non- volatile memory.

Data in ROM is permanently written and is not erased when you power off your computer.

Answer:

The key difference between RAM and ROM is that RAM is basically a read - write memory whereas, ROM is read only memory. RAM temporarily stores the data that have to be volatile memory. ROM is a non-volatile memory.

OR

=>RAM is is random access memory, while ROM stands for read only memory.

=>RAM is used for both read and write while ROM is used only for reading.

=>RAM needs electricity to flow to retail information while ROM is permanent.
